Insurgents in Iraq have apparently targetted a pet market. An improvised explosive device went off there earlier today killing at least 15 people. I've heard many people arguing that the only reason there is violence is because we are still there. If that were the case wouldn't these lunatics be targetting us more than civilians. This place was a pet market, similar to a pet store around the U.S.. Why would you target such a place? Why would you target a place where only Iraqi civilians will be? The answer, because the whole lot of them have lost their minds. They aren't attacking to hurt us as much anymore, now it is just about murdering innocent people, even their own people. Sad that some lunatic of a religious leader can justify the killings as fighting for God, Allah, etc..
