John Rich, a country music artist, recently released a song that describes the times pretty darn well. The lyrics follow and here is a link to the song. My daddy taught me that in this country everyone’s the same You work hard for your dollar and you never pass the blame When it don’t go your way Now I see all these big shots whinin’ on my evening news About how they’re losin’ billions and how it’s up to me and you To come running to the rescue Well pardon me if I don’t shed a tear ‘cause they’re selling make believe And we don’t buy that here
Cause in the real world there shutting Detroit down While the boss man takes his bonus pay and jets out of town/ And DC’s bailing out the bankers as the farmers auction ground, Yeah while they’re living it up on Wall Street in that New York City town, Here in the real world there shuttin’ Detroit down. They’re shuttin’ Detroit down.”
Well that old man’s been workin’ in that plant most all of his life Now his pension plan’s been cut in half and he can’t afford to die And it’s a crying shame, ‘cause he ain’t the one to blame When I look down and see his caloused hands, Let me tell you friend it gets me fightin’ mad
Instrumental solo
Yeah while there’ living it up on Wall Street in that New York City town Here in the real world there shuttin’ Detroit down Here in the real world there shuttin’ Detroit down
In the real world they’re shuttin Detroit down, they’re shuttin’ Detroit down.

Some scary stuff going on in the political world. The key exerpt that raises eyebrows: "The Obama Administration on Mar. 25 issued details on proposed legislation for a "resolution authority" that would give the President sweeping powers to dismantle or reorganize failing companies that pose a threat to the country's financial system. The proposal would also effectively shift some authority now held by the judiciary to the executive branch in an effort to speed up what could otherwise be slow-moving bankruptcy proceedings."
Excuse me? Shifting power? [sarcasm]That doesn't sound at all contrary to the Constitution, the wishes of the founding fathers, or the will of the American peoplel[/sarcasm]. Check the full story here. |

I'm beginning to think that the picture below describes the freedom we currently have as Americans. Sad state of affairs. |

Read this question, come up with an answer and then scroll down to the bottom for the result. This is not a trick question. It is as it reads. No one I know has gotten it right-including me.
A woman, while at the funeral of her own mother, met this guy whom she did not know. She thought this guy was amazing, so much her dream guy she believed him to be just that! She fell in love with him right there, but never asked for his number and could not find him. A few days later she killed her sister. Question: What is her motive in killing her sister? (Give this some thought before you answer). Now HIGHLIGHT BELOW THIS TEXT to see the answer.
Answer: She was hoping that the guy would appear at the funeral again. If you answered this correctly, you think like a psychopath. This was a test by a famous American Psychologist used to test if one has the same mentality as a killer. Many arrested serial killers took part in the test and answered the question correctly. If you didn't answer the question correctly good for you. If you did answer it, you are a scary person. |
