The Department of Homeland Security has issued a statement today urging Microsoft Windows users to install a patch for the flaw MS06-40. The flaw is in the RPC system(Server Service) which had another serious flaw in 2003 used by the Blaster worm. Microsoft released a mariad of patches for both the OS and Office on Tuesday. It is recommended that all users install the patches as soon as possible. Patches can be simultaneously installed by going to http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/ .
